Your donations to Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology will help us fund the following priorities:

Advanced Commercial Construction Technology Center

Construction of new facilities for the Construction Technology Program. The proposed 30,000 square foot center will serve as a model for modern commercial construction practices.

The facility will include labs that have the capability to simulate real construction methods and practices; labs that will be sized for the anticipated applications; will incorporate learning spaces that are electronically networked with multi-media devices; and technology-enriched classrooms for hands-on demonstrations.

Energy Center

Construction of new facilities for the Natural Gas Compression Program. The state-of-the-art NGC training center – or OSUIT Energy Center – will be a 33,600 square foot, two-level center that contains world-class instructional and applied research spaces.

It will incorporate Smart Classroom technology, tablet personal computers with annotation capabilities, and provide students with the ability to podcast by creating audio recordings of class lectures. Other technology to be included are radio frequency student response systems, lab monitoring software, networked multi-media devices, and an overhead crane.
